GeoDAS (Geophysical Data Acquisition System)

OVERVIEW

GeoDAS is a complete, powerful Windows-based software for seafloor mapping. Provides acquisition, control and real-time processing for sidescan, single-beam, multibeam, interferometric and optical sensors, integrating all position, attitude and environmental data in a single survey package. Supports mission planning, execution & analysis, with easy export to Geoogle Earth & other packages.

		NEW FEATURE: Use a forward look sonar as a nadir gap filler for sidescan data
		This short video shows a screen capture of the GeoDAS (Geophysical Data Acquisition System) software. The data being displayed here was acquired using the BlueView P900-130 2D imaging sonar. GeoDAS is capable of sampling from a user-defined portion of the forward look sector; sampled data then gets displayed in the waterfall, where operators can identify and analyze targets. The forward look imagery can be used as a gap filler for sidescan data, or be displayed by itself. In addition, GeoDAS can geocode the acquired forward-look data, producing a mosaic of the imagery displayed on top of a chart.
